Angel Tree Ministry

Through the Angel Tree ministry, parishioners provide gifts at Christmas to those in need within our community.  Read more

This is a ministry of listening, compassion and support for persons who have experienced the loss of a loved one.  Ministering to families who have suffered a great loss is a wonderful opportunity.  Read more

Catholic Relief Services (CRS)

Catholic Relief Services carries out the commitment of the Bishops of the United States to assist the poor and vulnerable overseas. They put faith into action to help the world’s poorest create lasting change. Read more

Respect Life

Respecting the sanctity of all human life from conception to natural death, Circle of Life extends to many different areas and groups as they relate to life.  Read more

CROP Hunger Walk

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations or groups to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world.  Read more


Fair Trade Coffee & Chocolate Sales

Fair Trade coffee and chocolate sales take place after all Masses the second full weekend of every month and help support our friends and partners, the small cooperative farmers in the mountains of Matagalp.  Read more

Community Thanksgiving Dinner

A non-denominational celebration of the gifts we receive from God.  It is open to all, free of charge. The dinner is an opportunity to gather together with friends and neighbors to celebrate our individual and shared blessings of good fortune.  Read more





Support for the Diocese of Maiduguri

St. Mary Cathedral offers a monthly humanitarian collection to aid brothers and sisters in the Diocese of Maiduguri, overrun by the Islamic militant group known as Boko Haram. Read more

World Mission Sunday

World Mission Sunday, organized by the Propagation of the Faith, is a day set aside for Catholics worldwide to recommit themselves to the Church's missionary activity through prayer and sacrifice. In 2016, World Mission Sunday will be celebrated the weekend of October 15/16.

Global Solidarity Partnership Opportunity
One of the primary requests made to us by Bishop Rolando Alvarez of our Sister Diocese of Matagalpa is for the continuing support of Scholarships for particularly poor children at two of the Diocese’s schools:  Sor Maria Romero Middle School which is located in a rural part of the Diocese of Matagalpa, and Pope John Paul II College in the city of Matagalpa itself.   Read more
