Thank you to all those who prayed for our 2015 pilgrimage!

Our youth had an amazing experience at NCYC the weekend of November 19-21.  Our group of 150 from across the Diocese of Gaylord joined over 25,000 in Indianapolis, IN.  Some of the students met Mark Hart, author of the Encounter Bible Timeline series that we use at our Catholic School.  One of our students met Jason Evert from the Chastity Project and some others met Jackie Angel, Catholic Singer and Songwriter (she was one of the emcees for the weekend).

We had the oportunity to participate in Praise and Worship with the Blessed Sacrament led by Matt Maher. There were at least 15 minutes of total SILENCE during our Eucharistic Adoration in the Indianapolis Colts Stadium; 25,000 silent – very powerful for our youth. Saturday morning’s session was focused on Our Lady and had a beautiful procession and talk by Chris Padgett.

A few of us spotted Archbishop Hebda in the sea of 25,000 and then we saw Bishop Raica; everyone in our group got to see and spend some time with both as well.

Thank you for your prayers. It was truly a blessed trip for our kids and all the adult chaperones who attended as well.
